So I’ve been wanting another vacuum because mine doesn’t have great suction anymore but I haven’t had the money to buy a decent one. I received a bonus from work and two days later my vacuum broke. The engine just petered out.

So I start researching vacuums and came away disheartened that there isn’t one that says buy me, I’m what you want. So I browse some in stores over the next few days, and still, nothing.

Then I’m in a store two nights ago and feel drawn to one of the vacuums on display. I play with it, use all the onboard tools and think yup, this is it. I was also happy that it was on sale.

I go to grab the box and there are none there. They’ve sold out. I laugh and think are you kidding me? Do you know how much dog hair is on my floor? The sales associate said to go see customer service and get a rain check. Rain check? Not sure I’ve ever done that. They can’t tell me when they’ll be in stock but when they are I can buy it at that sale price.

I leave and wonder if I should just go get a different one. The answer was, nope, just wait a bit. I’m heading out of town so that won’t be an issue.

Today my Dad left me a message. He was at a store and was calling to tell me about a vacuum he thought would be good for me. He described it and gave me the model number. Yup, you guessed it. The same vacuum. I now “know” that’s the vacuum for me without a doubt.

I love this stuff.
