Fantastic Spring Weekend

Well this weekend couldn’t have been more beautiful! I left yesterday morning to walk downtown with the puppas to pick up a little breakfast and coffee. Once downtown I remembered some friends were playing rugby, so I decided to walk over to the fields I thought they’d be on. After a long walk over they weren’t on those fields and I had to cross UI campus up huge hills to get to the other field. It was such a good work out and the dogs were loving life.

We then headed home after our 3-4 journey and met Mauri and Miles to head down to some music that was playing in the park. We loaded Miles in the stroller and headed out. Let me just tell you how many steep hills there are in this town. We hung out and danced a bit and walked around to see some vendors.

The weather was sunny and in the 60s. The town was alive and shaking. Rebirth happening everywhere it’s bee so great being a part of it all.

Today David and I went for a bike ride ALL over town up and down LOTS of hills. He wanted to look for trees, bushes, and plants that he likes and take photos so he knows what to ask for at the nursery. We then picked up some lunch and ate in a park. Today I think it got close to 70 and it’s preparing me for heading to NC on Friday.

Life’s good around these parts. Grass is green, trees are budding, and because of it staying light late, I get to be outside so much more. I just made an observation today that I get sooo much more exercise when the weather is nice and warm. I can’t stand the gym, and don’t need it in the warm months.

I’ve taken lots of photos lately, but haven’t quite processed any of them :( Sorry this post is photo free. I hope to get on it here soon, I just have been lazy with all my photos.

Hope everyone who lives in the colder climates is enjoying our nice intro to summer.
